TOGETHER WE STAND

At the conclusion of the 1787 Constitutional Convention, a young woman is said to have approached Benjamin Franklin as he exited Independence Hall. She inquired, "Dr. Franklin, what have we got? A republic or a monarchy?" Franklin replied, "My dear lady, a republic; if you can keep it." 

This exchange highlights a pivotal moment in American history. The Constitutional Convention of 1787 established the framework for the United States government and marked the birth of our Constitutional Republic.

The wisdom of our forefathers goes beyond simple cautionary tales; their insights serve as a beacon, guiding us along the path of freedom while illuminating our journey to assist us in avoiding the pitfalls of tyranny.
