The Tunnel to Towers Foundation is a non-profit organization that honors the sacrifice of firefighter Stephen Siller, who laid down his life to save others on September 11, 2001. On that fateful day on 9.11.2001, Stephen Siller, an off-duty firefighter, heard about the attacks on the World Trade Center. Without hesitation, he strapped on 60 pounds of gear and ran through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers, where he ultimately lost his life while saving others.
The Tunnel to Towers Foundation pays tribute to our service members and first responders who have endured catastrophic injuries. The foundation's mission is to support first responders and military heroes who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty while serving our country, both abroad and in our local communities. A Mission of Gratitude
Stephen Siller's selfless act of heroism inspired his family to start the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. They wanted to honor his memory by supporting other first responders and military personnel who risk their lives every day. The foundation's programs provide mortgage-free homes, support for Gold Star families, and adaptive smart homes for severely injured veterans.

- Fallen First Responder Home Program: Offering mortgage-free homes to the families of law enforcement officers and firefighters who lose their lives in the line of duty.
